I had the pleasure of dining at Top Flr on a recently with my fiance. We were looking for somewhere actually open at 10pm on a Sunday with a good wine selection by the glass, perhaps some food, and moderate prices. We thought this would be a feat (as it usually is; now I am DONE with you, Cafe Intermezzo!), but we ended up finding this midtown gem! Wine: Nice little list. We went with the Bordeaux and a the Pinot Noir by the glass. We were informed they were out of the latter, so we were instead offered to open a bottle of the Bethel Heights Pinot (as my fiance was very set on drinking the varietal) from the bottle list for the same price per glass. Coincidentally, this wine is a favorite of ours so we happily accepted management's nice offer and enjoyed our wine very much with our appetizer and dessert. Food: Most of the menu sounded tasty. We ordered the tuna tartare flatbread app and the brownie with salted caramel and caramelized bananas. The app was spicy and delicious, with a generous helping of tuna. For $13, I thought it was well-priced. The dessert was a wonderful combination of texture, temperature (hot bananas, cold vanilla ice cream), and sweetness. We were really eyeing the duck and the fig salad on the menu too. Next time! Service: Wonderful. Our server was friendly, warm and gave us some great suggestions. A+! The atmosphere was chic but not overbearing, which I find can sometimes happen in places with more innovative and "trendy" menus. I can foresee parking being a hassle on busier nights, but it was a nonissue for us. The fact that they are open AND serve [delicious] food until 12am on Sundays will definitely bring us back!

Awesome. Well I have missed out on this wonderful place for too long. Now that we are moving from this hood makes it worth a trip back up here. The sangria (we had the white) was delicious not overly sweet and a great deal at 5 huge glasses for $30 in a pitcher. Our Meal started with the most incredible empandas $12 I have ever had we had the trio of beef, octopus, & chicken, the crusts on these delicious little pillows of love had no greasiness what so ever so much so that I think they were baked???Our Main courses for me the Spanish lasagna & D had the Cornish game hen, both equally delicious maybe a little small on the portions but extremely fair in price. Our server Malachi was a pleasure his services spot on & appreciated. Even though this place was a bit loud for me I would come back in a NYC minute. ENJOY!
