by Kameron K. on Bootie SF is awesome, I've only gone once but I had a blast there. The music was awesome and there was a lot of room to dance, except for the occasional douchebag that kept running into you. One huge woman pierced my foot with her 5 inch heels. What I liked about it was the mixed crowed that ended up there, you get all different kinds of people, instead of the one to two different cliques of people you usually see at other clubs. I'd highly suggest going during a bootie night.
by Athena Brickman on Came on a Thursday night for dinner and beers, good timing, not too crazy. Love the beer garden and random articles you can sit on, like a giant tortoise. Inside is a random diner, cool idea I guess in the winter time but just seems so random. Then they have the actual bar area where supposedly famous groups like the Roots got their start in Philly. It's worth checking out because of all the randomness in one place but I'd have to see it on a party night to give it anything better than 3*.
by Amanda Instasi on Lava/Cosmo has so much to offer, too bad the crowd is vile. I absolutely love the concept, the layout and decor are really impressive. Sometimes the music is good. Drinks are expensive but that's to be expected. The lava side is definitely better.
