I would have given this restaurant a 5, but in the end service is everything. We showed up to this fabulous place and everything seemed to be going well. We listened to Jazz and ordered a plate the was supposed to be a sample plate of all of the foods they offer. We had a party of 5 but we mostly came for the jazz. The waiter then said "For all five of you?" and we concurred. The food came and it was delightful... everything was great until we go the bill. Turns out we had ordered large portions for 5 people of this dish we thought we were ordering one of. Flustered at the over a $100 bill we talked to the waiter and tried to explain what had happen. Being very unresponsive they called the manager, Soon after the waiter explained the manager would like to talk to us. So over the phone she BITCHED out my friend and then told us she was coming down there. When she arrived this time our ENTIRE party was bitched out. She then told us we had to pay all of the bill, which none of us could afford. After trying to clarify this fact she then told us we would at least have to pay half the bill. Finally we paid it and left. I dont know what kind of establishment thinks they can treat their customers this way but they sure thought wrong. I understand there was a mistake in communication but really, your going to come down and curse out a table of women who are trying to clear up an issue? Never coming back to this whack ass establishment.

Turkey burger. Best anywhere. I've been going here for years. Whenever I am in the area, I have to eat there. The 2 go take out service is really good but for some reason the wait staff, not so much. Still hands down, one of my fave places to go for a burger and fries. This is NOT In n Out! MMMM!

Luckie....... mmmm, not so luckie this night. A few of us made our way over to Luckie Food Lounge for a night cap after our regular Thursday night happy hour meet ups. Yeah, it was a UYE! stop on our tour of this life. The lounge sets off a really cool vibe and and ultra modern mood the minute you enter through the revolving doors. On this night, blue lighting filled the room while contrasting oranges and reds lit up the oceanic fish tanks of sea creatures. Although I didn't get a chance to see the food menu, I think it's safe to say that Luckie is a seafood and sushi restaurant????? I will say that Luckie has got to have probably the sexiest! sushi bar in all of Atlanta. Your back drop is a HUGE! fish tank with vibrant colors of fish and other wonders of the sea. Back at the table, our waiter came by to take our drink order. A beer, a girlie drink for the lady and 3 mixed cocktails for the rest of us and off he goes to place the orders. A few minutes later he returns with only the beer and the excuse of, "we are out of the stuff to make the ladies drink, we are out of Crown Royal to make my drink and out of the stuff to make the 3rd mixer" --- OPPS! our bad! (he didn't say that, but I could tell he was thinking it) It's a Thursday night, how are you out of so many liquors that you have to have 3 customers re-choose something to drink?!?!?!?! Baffled, I am. So for that, you get points taken away. So I can't comment on the food as I didn't even get a chance to peek at the menu. I do remember a table next to us had ordered the muscles and they smelled and looked good. Being the sushi lover I am, I would certainly like to see how they are in the raw, so I will come back here to try. If not for that, then for the look of the sushi bar alone will entice me. Other things I noticed were the loud music and lots of TVs playing music video's everywhere. Who needs MTV when you have Luckie Food Lounge?!?!?!? HA! I could see where the music would be a bit over bearing, however it was late on a Thursday night when I was there so it was ok for the moment. It looks like a pretty cool place to throw a birthday party or even start out a bachelorette party at, but definitely not a place for a quiet dinner out.
