I visited Aja yesterday (Monday) for their $5 Sushi special and $1 Nigiri special. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and much larger than I had expected from the street view. There is a large nice patio with couches and plenty of seating. I noticed that they got a 98% on their Health Inspection (posted right when you enter), but last year they got an 80% (also posted), phew, I don't think I have ever seen such a low score. Anyway the hostess was very awkward and not friendly at all. Our waitress was okay but seemed rushed for some reason--eventhough we were eating dinner at 5PM and there were hardly any customers at that point. The sushi was decent, nice presentation, glad that we were there on a "special" night, because otherwise it would be a bit overpriced. The service was mediocre, no one we encountered there was friendly. Service was extremely slow. I probably won't go back, unless I go on a night where they have happy hour/cheap sushi.

Lime is good stuff. After a couple visits, i am able to finally write a review. What brings most people to Lime is the well known and celebrated "bottomless mimosas", where $7 gets you an endless supply of this brunch libation. And in most respects, this added flare probably fluffs up peoples memories of the food and environment of Lime when they come later to review the place. And i am really no exception, though i try. The food at lime is decent, though, nothing spectacular. I've never tried their lunch or dinner menu so i can only speak to the brunch items. I last ordered a Eggs Benedict, which is my usual staple brunch order at any place. The dish itself was pretty good, but i thought the muffis was a bit too soft (not a result of absorbing the sauce). The sauce itself was decent classic hollandaise and the potatoes served were also just slightly undercooked, but tolerable. Lime has one big problem though... they have ONE bathroom. ONE. I'm not kidding. One unisex bathroom for serving endless alcohol? You do the math. There's a line and patrons are known to leave Lime to use the bathrooms at neighboring stores. Honestly, what brings you and keeps you at Lime is the experience. Its a modern restaurant serving up endless mimosas on the weekend playing loud dance music with attractive guys and girls in booty shorts. It's a gay bar with eggs. You'll be shouting over the music so your friends can hear and youll probably be buzzed enough that the food will be amazing... but thats ok. Turn that frown upside down and enjoy! Tips: -Arrive early -Prepare to wait about an hour -Keep one friend close to the door so they dont skip you. -Reservations are strongly encouraged.

art gallery + bar + club + lounge + "live" painting (...oooooh) + 2 DJ's + long lines + 2 dance floors + cash only (LAME!!) = 111 Minna Overall, a pretty good find! They have an ATM so you can pay for the expensive drinks. The Long Islands were worth it - nothing else.
