Wow. Such a surprising number of negative reviews. You mean you went to the Varisty and had high expectations that your food wasnt going to be greasy and that you werent going to be yelled at by the staff for not ordering quick enough. Dear Lord, it's the freaking Varisty. I have been coming here for nearly 20 years and I still love going back. You must be some type of yuppie to come here not expecting to get greasy food. Everything is absolutely terrible for you, but boy is it delicious! I'm pretty sure even if The Varsity had a 1 here on rateclubs, it would have minimal impact on the business. The place is an institution it has changed in 50 years and its not going anywhere anytime soon. The 1 and 2 star reviewers obviously have missed the point as to what The Varsity is all about. Which is OK by me because your type aren't welcome in these parts.

It's true, this place is not the place to be on a Saturday night. Don't get me wrong, I love the whole urban vibe, laid back, and chill atmosphere but Roe is too snobby to accommodate that. Look if you want to be snobby about it then at least own up to it. Not a great venue for Saturday night clubbing. Place is pretty small and not enough places to sit if you wanted, everything is VIP and reserved, even though we had reserved booths, it was nothing special.

Fun, fun, fun!! Great music, people and drinks, anyone and everyone is welcome. I enjoy the special events and the Sunday afternoon T-Dance where you can find some great DJs doing their thing all night/day long.
