Immaculate. Expensive, and worth it. $42 for two cocktails. Perfectly executed cocktails without distracting showmanship. Everyone and everything was demure, luxurious, and classic. The view is breathtaking. And the fact that it's indoors is such a plus. Fresh air is good, but who wants to worry about the weather. I'd much rather have the carpet beneath my feet : ) It's not the Boom Boom Room, because it's not in nightclub mode- and in my opinion it's best this way. For a while, so many great places were lacking in their light. For all the effort put into the surroundings, I think a well lit space enhances the whole experience. The nude tones with hints of orange and yellows; it was Lush. I wanted to stay longer and Indulge in all of it. The guests are either exceptionally beautiful or Wealthy and occupied with excellent company. Your server may have been featured in vouge. So keep in mind, it's not a place to picks someone up, - it's a place to not think about the money being spent while having a casual, yet luxurious nightcap. Don't leave without visiting the restroom. You can see the gorgeous light fixture from the Highline beaming with opulence as it calls to you... intoxicates you with the desire to be Up There.

I came here to see my fav band of all time - Super Adventure Club. Now first off, not to come across gay-basher or anything I was very surprised this was in the castro, it does not have a gay bar feeling at all, or some undercover sex club, which is mostly what I loved about this place, I was pleasantly surprised at how chill this place is. I Showed my i.d and the guy asked if I was related to lenny dyksra, which I found funny because I haven't been asked that in years. This place actually kinda reminds me of red devil lounge with more room now that I think about it. I didn't see the coat check (where is it??) but I looove how the space is set up. there's plenty of room to dance on the floor and the bar is off to the side with plenty of room to stand around and drink, plus they have water out for you if you get thirsty. I kinda wish there was more seating but that's my only complaint. The bathrooms are clean, stocked with extra toilet paper, and there's actually more than 1 stall (every place I go to seems to have only one stall, baaaad idea people! its a bar!) plenty of room and the vibe is awesome, people of every flavor here who are just there to relax and enjoy the music/drinks and not trying to hook up with everybody. cover is a bit spendy for my taste (around $12) but I'll gladly pay it for a good time with no creepers.

Wow I really dig the vibe at this place. I had not been to the former location but the locale on Fillmore is great. The interior is sort of "contemporary". . .that's about all I can say. The crowd on Thursday Latin Jazz night was cool as in "cool baby cool". Very low key vibe of people groovin'.. The Latin Jazz band was AMAZING. If you're looking for the latest "hot hip spot" in the city with a fauxhawk DJ wearing slick threads, this is not the place for you. If you appreciate friendly people chillin' to excellent jazz music, check Rassela's. Highly recommended.
