Do not go on a Sunday night. There is one particular promoter who is singlehandedly killing 1Oak. I won't go into detail but if you ever go you will find that he is always outside acting as though he is the second coming of the Messiah. While I understand and even appreciate a "hot" clubs need for exclusivity and a sense of mystique, it only makes sense if you're doing this to keep the stragglers out. Instead, this particular promoter was keeping out the beautiful people and the ones who were actually paying for tables. There were 10 people inside, and not a single one was attractive. Think girls wearing flats and F21 skirts from 1997, elderly men, and hipsters who aren't hip. One girl went outside to beg the promoter to let more people in, saying that they would leave their table, ask for a refund, and take their money to Tenjune. He shrugged and let in a crop of nerds. And if you think for a second that this was his act of retribution for the years of "uncool" people being shunned from hotspots, trust me, it wasn't. Never again.

This is a great addition to The City. I went here on Saturday night for dinner with friends. We stayed on to listen to the music. Our food, service, and entertainment were delightful. The food was great. Since everything is served a la carte our table of four decided to get 3 "proteins" (pork loin, lamb, and cornish hen), 2 sides (red wine risotto and truffle fries), and each a salad to share. It was the perfect amount of food. Not only that, but there are so many tasty options on the menu it's hard to decide what to get. EVERYTHING I had was delicious. It was a toss up between the pork and the lamb though on which was my favorite. They also have a specialty cocktail menu which we sampled from. Although slightly pricey ($9-14 a pop), it's nice to see a few refreshing options. I had a "cherry bomb" which had muttled cherries in it. Talk about a change from maraschinos! The music started around 10 and was enjoyable. The Pleasuremakers were playing and although it's not necessarily my favorite to listen to, they put on a good show and it fit the ambience. All in all a great night, especially for a restaurant having only been opened for a short bit. I wish this restaurant success and will definitely return.

This place SUCKS!!!!!!! I have never been to such a low class place with such horrible food. I actually had to send my plate back and was so disgusted with what I got, I would not take anything else there on the menu even if I was forced to. The pirce feels like if you should be dinning at Emeril's, which if you had been to, you would understand what I mean about the food here, it sucked, a step down from what it was for sure. I would have honestly given this place negative stars, but that is not possible. The service did not know what they were doing, not even the manager, they only have bud light, miller or chinese beer; parking is a mission, since you have to mandatory valet and then they want a tip for taking their time to get your car when it is f***ing freezing. The food is the worst I have had in Atlanta. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! for people who come here and like it, the ones that think the food is good, I feel sorry for you, you are obviously the crowd that goes to Havana sandwich shop and thinks it is good cuban. PATHETIC! let me recommend some places: any fifth group restaurant is pleasing to me. SOUTH CIY KITCHEN, ECCO, EL TACO, LA TAVOLA, ,, FIGO, STAR PROVISIONS, WEST EGG, SHAUN'S, FRITTI, SOUPER JENNY, TAMARIND SEED, NAN.. these are all great places, and the food can not be beat! but as far as heretoserve,,,, twist is as fas as I go, and it is only cause I live in Buckhead and it is close to me, but I will never go to AJA again, I would much better MAxIM PRIME if I am going to go somewhere overpriced, at least the food is good here, or try BLUEPOINT, maybe more your style if you think the price at AJA was decent, at least here you would get you moneys worth, get the "hot stone kobe beef" . Anyways bottom line, AJA SUCKS!!!! I would rather die of hunger than go back here again. Cheers!
