by Jamie B. on Much like bar 210, this place is aiight. I wouldn't suggest my girls and i go here for a night out but should someone else want to go i wouldn't be opposed. We didn't need any kind of stamp to move from bar to club, nor did we experience anything but a pleasant welcoming attitude from any of the staff. The layout of the club is pretty awesome. Walking in, immidiatley to your left is a raised platform w about 8 tables, which was the perfect little private area for us to dance (myself dancing on the back of the booth of course). Continuing on you have a good sized dance floor in proportion to the rest of the club with a few tables around the perimeter, and behind that was a good sized patio. The bar was directly opposite the DJ on the dance floor, again on a raised platform. Do the layout didn't give off the vibe that it catered primarily to it's table service guests as some places do. The crowd...the crowd was interesting. They key reason for my indifference is they played all house music after about 11:45/midnightish which i'm not into at all. So..back to the crowd, you had the crowd that is really really into house music (you know the crowd), then you had the hotel guests crowd. Not a whole lot of bottle beverly hills blondes at all. Matter of fact I think i only saw like 2 girls that fit that demographic. So a mixed crowd, not a whole lot of outstanding eye candy but no fugs either. Just kind of right down the middle.
by giovanni s. on Awesome. Well I have missed out on this wonderful place for too long. Now that we are moving from this hood makes it worth a trip back up here. The sangria (we had the white) was delicious not overly sweet and a great deal at 5 huge glasses for $30 in a pitcher.Our Meal started with the most incredible empandas $12 I have ever had we had the trio of beef, octopus, & chicken, the crusts on these delicious little pillows of love had no greasiness what so ever so much so that I think they were baked???Our Main courses for me the Spanish lasagna & D had the Cornish game hen, both equally delicious maybe a little small on the portions but extremely fair in price. Our server Malachi was a pleasure his services spot on & appreciated. Even though this place was a bit loud for me I would come back in a NYC minute. ENJOY!
