It's not too big to the point where you can't find your friends and it's not too small to the point where you can see your friend's eye color across the room. An overall nice typical fun club for any night of the week! The drinks aren't made too harshly here (I hate shitty bartenders) and it's usually pretty packed. They're under construction right now but they should be opening up pretty soon and going back to the full sized club they were before (only half open now but still a pretty good size)
by Joe Susor on I gave it a three. And here's why. The food, and ambiance are great. The portions and price leave something to be desired. Maybe I am becoming a cheap ass in these tough econ times, but if I pay a bit more, I want to be fed. A good date spot.
by Chung Clites on after one of my friends birthday plans to another club got canceled we ended up at kress because he knows one of the promoters. the swarm of people in front of the club wasnt something i didnt expect (there is also and entrance in the back? i think thats for the restaurant/rooftop... who knows). but the one thing i did notice about this place is that its harder to get in here than the oval office. our hookup said that we can go in but we need 3 girls (any 3 girls... so we got any 3 girls). Man im getting tired of fighting to get into these "cool" clubs. seriously. anyways we turn our backs for a minute and they let the 3 girls in and not us.... BURN! lol. we'll we got in 5 minutes later but i learned a valuable lesson in the process. when you walk in you have to walk up like 8 flights of stairs to get to the club and my knees arent as young as they used to be (im an old 26). i know someone at somepoint must have fell down those stairs while drunk. The club is actually not that big but they dont let in a shitload of people so it never really gets that crowded. Good looking people all around, all types of ethnicities. The drinks were a little more $$$ than what im used to but thats the price you pay in H-wood. The DJ played good songs but he played them like 2 or 3 times... Isnt the cardinal rule for a DJ is that you dont play the same song twice on the same night?? all in all i had fun and I didnt even have to take out a small loan in the process
