by anne m. on The two stars are for the outdoor seating and bottomless mimosas. I met a friend here for brunch on Saturday and was immediately turned off by the swarm of flies buzzing near the kitchen. I understand it is an open space, but cleanliness is a huge factor when I eat out. It was a perfect sunny day to sit on the dock and enjoy some mimosas and good conversation. The mimosas came in wine glasses and they kept them flowing! The service was excepionally shitty. There were only a few couples sitting outside with us and when my eggs benedict got there it was COLD! The home fries were hot though so I'm assuming the eggs were done before the fries. I was too starving to send it back and wait another 30 minutes for my meal. My friend asked for tobasco and they brought her tapatio. She asked for tobasco again and they never brought it. Finally, the bill took another half hour to come after asking for it twice. Can we say sunburned? All that waiting...I shoulda asked for an umbrella. It seems as though other people have had good experiences, maybe I'll give them one more shot.
