I was so happy to find this restaurant in my neighborhood. I've been to Indonesia and didn't know of anywhere else to find food from there. It's vegetarian friendly which I appreciate, almost as much as the $6 a plate! I just wish they would do away with the styrofoam plates.

Worst. Experience. Ever. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I came on a Thursday night. First of all, mandatory coat check ($4)--not cool. You literally have to walk past the coat check guards at the desk to get into the club. The place had a small crowd, but it was still so empty I could practically see the overloud music echoing on the empty dance floor/seats. I was ogled and stared at as if I'd walked onto the stage of a meat market, and it didn't get any better. I'm serious, I've been to a lot of clubs, but I've never been stared at some obviously and unwelcomingly. Downstairs seemed like a different world (hey, white people), but still weird setup. The bathroom had perfume and scents so thick I nearly choked. Nice bathroom attendant lady though. The kicker of the night--I hacked up my lungs for 6 days because I got smoke inhalation damage from the retarded smoke cloud they had pumped onto the dance floor. I was only there for 20 minutes, but it was more than enough. Like Sammy H. said, "Circle around the block for something else"--ANYTHING else.

GREAT FOR PRIVATE EVENTS Went here for a private tech networking event so it was setup for an event and not as a restaurant. I thought the place was adorable. There is plenty of space and it didn't feel too crowded at all. There are comfy sofas to sit on if you get tired of standing. The DJ area was in a great location, relative to everything else also. The bathrooms were spotless. It's more of a high end event location--definitely not a dive bar. More importantly, the bartenders were fantastic. They were all super nice, FAST, and they poured STRONG DRINKS.
