by Fraser T. on By day, it's a cafe. By night, it's a lounge. That's the way they sell this place, anyway. The reality is that it's an internet cafe where they dim the lights and serve alcohol in the evening. I'd say it's an alternative to that 24-hour Starbucks in Laurel Heights if you want to go somewhere to work on your laptop late in the evening. The dim lights make you feel less guilty about being a nerd when you should be out at a real bar at that time.

It would be if I happened to be a fan of champagne, lounges, and a predominant crowd of Asian guys who leer and hit on you & all your friends. The basement level has a bar and dance floor...which reeks of sweat. But if you're drunk and standing by a fan, it's tolerable. The staff also fails to notify you of any table service minimums prior to seating you. We came here with a group of 8 and decided to get their $65 champagne bottle special + a round of kamikaze shots. When we wanted to close the tab and move downstairs to dance, our waitress informed us there was a $250 minimum for groups of 8 or more. Uh, come again? No one informed us of this prior to making the reservation! Otherwise, we would've passed on getting the special! Thankfully they let us slide on that without giving us any trouble.
