Great place for happy hour, late night performance of weird vintage french clowns (I think) or Friday "depression era" 35cent drinks. And it's really an amazing space; very impressive and interesting decor.

SIX STARS. I'm sure I'm not allowed to do that, but I just did. Go ahead... revoke my Rateclub membership. This place is a (I was going to say "local") NATIONAL treasure. Simply one of the most beautiful places to see a show in an intimate setting. I've seen so many great shows here (Eels, Chameleons, The Beatles... okay... maybe not them...) I can't even count the number of times I've heard the band make some statement about how great this place is... One of my favorite bands of all time, The Chameleons, who came from Manchester, England, all agreed that this was "by far" the greatest place they've ever played. They've been all over the world, so that statement holds a lot of water... Check the listings and go see a show.
