I've been to this place back when it was owned by the silent Korean lady...when she would first begrudgingly replace beers that had flies in them and then not at all(because who doesn't like a properly fly-peppered beer?), one of the most horrifying bathrooms ever (and I've been in some bathrooms), and overall sleaze of the clientele, I was very very reluctant to go here but my friend insisted. I threw caution to the wind and I'm so glad I did! I love the interior, done in a nice teal and deep brown (like dark chocolate), beautiful furniture and bar and friendly, helpful and lightening-quick bartenders, I discovered here my new favorite drink: The Sidecar. It's like a bourbon margarita but better because there's no tequila! From what I've been told, it's all the old amazing bartenders from Tunnel Top who were Done (with a capital D) with Tunnel Top. I'm so happy they left and helped create this awesome place to enjoy a drink or two in the TL. All I have to say to that is: Thank You! I will be back for more.

I hate this venue. The sound system sounds horrible - all you hear is muffled bass. The other night we saw a girl wheeled out on a gurney bleeding and knocked out and a huge guy being arrested for hitting her. There are always cops hanging outside this place for a reason. Not the best place for dancing - good place for overspending on bottle service. SF equivalent to Ruby Sky. Please OM - move your party back to Opium Garden.
