by Candy C. on One star for the good dancing music. Came here for a friend's big birthday. She paid $400 deposit for the corner seating upstairs next to the patio, but guess what, when we arrived, we were placed in the middle section next to the bar without any prior notice. Instead of having our 4-course dinner on nice big dinner tables, 33 of us had to eat from tiny-ass coffee tables that were practically 2 inches from the floor. The prefix menu.... 4 courses you say? Oh ya, first 2 were freaking appetizers, and after that, it was about 1 hour wait before we tasted "the main dishes". and no, they were not worth the wait. Everyone chowed down simply because we could eat horses by then (at 10:30p and we arrived before 8p). When we thought things couldn't get any more unpleasant, the wait staff rushed us to finish because they had to clear the area for table services....oh no...we were not important for Medjool even though we had 33 people :( Ya. If you are thinking about going to Medjool to have a fun night with your big crowd, STOP thinking about it and go somewhere else.
by D d. on Yes, my DV8 days are over, but Temple has arrived to bring back those memories. I had a friend come in from out of town, who I grew up with in the city, why did I tell her this place has re-opened as Temple? The crouwd...ehhhh..I guess I am just old. The main floor is not bad, the bottom floor feels like a dungeon, not a bad place if you just wanna get drunk and dance like I did.
