This is pretty much just a large room with two bars (one of which is closed off until more people get tricked into coming here). It's in a random alley with nothing nearby. Only reason it's not getting 1 star is because they have cider on tap! Yummm.

3.5 stars. I came here for DineLA, and I found it to be a pretty good deal. My expectations weren't super high - I knew the restaurant was trendy and would look great, but I wondered if maybe the food wouldn't be as focused. That wasn't the case on this night. We were a little late for our reservation, as a number of guests in our party were running late. However, the restaurant staff were very cool about it, even though the restaurant was clearly at capacity that night. One annoying thing, however, is that we had to request the Restaurant Week menu. I don't like having to do this; it's almost like they're trying to hide it and steer you towards the a la carte. And then someone asked, they gave one Restaurant Week menu for our party of nine. However, we did get a bunch more subsequent to that. I had the tataki of wagyu beef skirt steak as the starter. It was a generous portion (probably 4-5 ounces) and very tasty. However, the highlight starter was the sweet corn soup with pork belly. Really delicious. Had the halibut entree and also tried the asparagus risotto. The halibut was cooked well, and was a good chunk. The cantaloupe and tomato accompaniments did not add too much though. The risotto was good, however it came out of the kitchen too hot. I had the root beer float for dessert. I remember the one at Michael Mina in SF being better, but I can't really pinpoint why. I think the float could've used another scoop of ice cream - I could only find one. The warm chocolate chip pecan cookies were delish! In all, it was a good meal with a number of surprises. Definitely worthwhile for the Restaurant Week deal. One drawback was that service was a little slow, but not too bad.

If you could find me at any club on a Saturday night this would be it. Love the sound system; theres no feeling like the feeling of the bass literally pounding away at your entire body as your favorite DJ drops the beat after one of those snare rolls.  Cliche, yes, but when your with a few hundred other people you don't care. Some of my friends who don't like electronic music have fun here.  The vibe is amazing although admitedly it feels like "asian night" on some nights. Go for the headliners.
