by amanda b. on I love shows at Bimbo's. It's like walking onto a movie set. Love the atmosphere, love the uniforms, love that they trust us with real glassware. I also enjoy the fact that the bartender looks like he's been making gimlets and martinis longer than I've been alive. There are a few negatives. The bathroom smells like every kind of perfume at once due to an overeager attendant. The mixed drinks are not that strong, and I'm not sure what the well vodka was, but I think it probably comes in a box. But believe me, the few negatives are totally insignificant. Bimbo's lives up to its hype and history.
