by Leanne B. on I could be crazy and I know it isn't a good idea to give 5 stars for just one visit, but I can't think of one negative thing about our visit on a busy late-Saturday evening. From the mixed drinks (oh I was so tempted to get a milkshake but after a couple of glasses of wine at my work Christmas party, I didn't think it would be too smart) to the burgers to the sides, everything seemed absolutely on point to me. I loved the overall vibe in the restaurant, which was definitely busy, and I felt like the service was great-there when you need them, friendly, but not all up in your business. We sat at the bar looking into the kitchen which was fun because we got a good peak at how all the food coming out looked. I don't even know if it matters which burger you get because they all seem to be packed with flavor, but I had the Ossobuco and my guy the Chorizo. We also did onion rings and jalapeno slaw, and got comped some fried pickles. NOM NOM NOM. The sides alone are delish enough to make a meal. I personally think the size of the burgers is perfect because they are very rich and I couldn't even finish the last of mine even though I had barely eaten all day. All I know is, I need to get back there as soon as possible and get myself a milkshake. I'll let you know how that goes!
by Flora Y. on The bartender kept the wine flowing and kept us laughing. We came here for a poetry slam, and the performers were amazing. The vibe is so welcoming and encouraging. It was a very diverse crowd in every sense of the word. The owner is a fiesty older man but don't let him intimidate you, lol. Come here with an open mind and open heart and you'll have a good time.
