This place has extremely poor business practices. Avoid at all costs. I recently decided to give this place a second chance, but never underestimate gut feelings. We asked about their Power Play special, where the bowling games and shoes were half price with the purchase of drinks and food. The combined tab for 4 people turned out to be over $400, for 2 games of Bowling and shoes plus food. They didn't separate the tabs either so finding out exactly what you should be paying was a mystery. I'll never set foot in this place again, what a pure waste of time.

Mezzanine is not a cliche city club. Centrally located in the heart of San Francisco's downtown, this space is the perfect place for an enjoyable evening out. Built in a large warehouse, the club features two levels of dance floors, lounge areas, and bars. The 12000 square foot venue is known for hosting some of the top music talent in the industry today, including: Lady Gaga, Chromeo, DJ AM, Justice, Method Man, Nas, Mos Def, and more. The versatile club also entertains private parties - from intimate gatherings to large scale events, the impressive space can hold up to 1000. Mezzanine offers a full-service professional event staff and all the services necessary for the creation and execution of an event, including but not limited to catering, sound, lighting, entertainment booking, management, and custom décor. I was able to work a large party at Mezzanine and get a look at the club from behind the scenes. I was thoroughly impressed with the staff, the space, and the saucy atmosphere of the entire place. First floor features a large stage, several bars, clean bathrooms, coat check, and a dance floor. Two separate stairways lead up to a spacious second floor. Filled with luxury lounge areas and smaller bars, this expandable space wraps around the top of the club. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional - superb service coupled with amiable attitudes brought a nice highlight to the night. From the impressive space to it's swanky scene - you can't go wrong with a night out at Mezzanine!!

This place is a sweatbox and they charge a 5 dollar cover (not a big fan of covers)... but the music is good (a mix of hip hop, reggaeton, and reggae) and so are the drinks. However, there are some "characters" here... like this one guy that was obsessively attracted to my hair. Oh, and it gets verrrrry crowded in here, so it took a while to maneuver away from him. It felt like it took a while to get anywhere in here, despite the space being very small. Other than that... be prepared to dance your ass off! Good times, good times.
