I can't rate it less because it wont let me.....wish i could. Sat night dec 4, we reserved 2 tables with 4 grey goose magnum bottles for me and my fiance and 11 of our close friends. towards the end of the night me and my girl friends and my brother went to the lady room . my brother waited for us to come out to walk us back to our table were my fiance was paying . when one of the bouncer come in the lady room started banging on the stall doors to tell us hurry up . First of all why is he in the woman room ?....my brother told him we were almost done when the guys gets on my brother face to say .....( wait for them outside .....the point is the bouncer physically reached out when i was walking back to reconnect with my fiance to pull me out the club when i said nothing but i will leave when my girl friend is done just give as i second....i'm a petite 5'2 girl and there no need to grab and pull me ......we pay a lot of money every time we come here and there bouncer are excuse my language ( are Mierda's ). my fiance approached the bouncer about what he had done and he said he was doing he's job .....the night ended bad because my fiance and he's friends wanted to hunt the bouncer that pull me and disrespected me calling me a bitch because i said i don't think my fiance will appreciate the way you are disrespecting me .....Security is bad at this place and disrespectful,,,,,, if you do vip table go somewhere else that will respect you,,,,,

Vegan Village is in our neighborhood, and since my wife recently went vegetarian, we decided to walk over and check it out. I agree with the other reviewers that they food is a little bit too pricey. They need to reduce their prices around 10-20%. When we were in there we were the only ones dining at 7pm on a Monday night -- the place was totally empty. So they have to price it down to bring in more people. My wife ordered the soul plate and I have to say everything on that was very good. I wasn't blown away by the burrito. They did give us a taste of the vegan shrimp and those were pretty tasty, as well as a free oatmeal cookie. The staff is sweet and attentive (they put out a bowl of water for our dog outside and were accommodating to our 9 month old), and it's nice to have such an interesting establishment in the neighborhood. Tthe building that houses Vegan Village is AMAZING! It was formerly owned by Howard Hughes and was called the Diana Ballroom. If you stop by, check out the upstairs. There are three large rooms with full bars. As a club, it can hold up to 2000 people! It would be an interesting spot to rent out for a party, though I have no idea what they charge. Enjoy!
