This is hands down my favorite bar in Hollywood. Why? Because it's not full of skip-skankin-skallywags, or however you say it. Either way, it doesn't smell like a Holister Cologne Factory and doesn't look like a Forever 21 Strip Joint. So, with those two wonderful additions, and rare commodities in Hollywood, It's obvious why I love this place. That, and if it's good enough a place for Jack Bauer to get drunk in, it's good enough for me. $3 MGD's. That's a tough deal to beat. It's hard to get a $3 soda in that area, nonetheless beer. The prices are really fair and the pours are mightily gracious; just like the beautiful staff members. The staff is awesome, the doorman isn't a shmuck. The security guard look like 12 year old's but probably put up a better fight. The overall feeling of the staff is service oriented and everyone seems to be having a good time. The ambiance is spectacular. One of the coolest lit and decorated bars in Hollywood. Very personable. It seems truly welcoming, from the inside/out. The back patio is a uniquely lit cozy area with plentiful seating; it feels like central park, but with easier access to booze. Overall, great service, good drinks, fair prices, awesome ambiance, it's a tough place to beat. Go there on your birthday, they'll get you tossed up on that cheap well liquor. Or, maybe that's just what I remember. '' PS- Great live music! AND NO COVER!

I've only been here twice recently and those were Friday nights. I must have gone here once back in 2001 because it's a vaguely familiar place. Cover- $5, gets you a happy face stamp on your inner wrist Bar - cash only. A goose tonic cost $9. Hired dancers - very very very minimal clothing Crowd - straight, bi and gay. Attire - just about anything...

I've started to take lessons at Cafe Cocomo, and I only wonder what took me so long to get here. This place is so much fun - and the lessons actually make sense. I leave feeling like a true salsera (even though I'm only in the intermediate class!). The teachers go slowly and help to make sure that everyone can see their steps, and has a full understanding before letting us loose with actual on-tempo music. What I also like about this place (as opposed to Rocapulco) is that everyone who's here seems to be excited to just have fun - not show off. Mistakes are okay!
