I'm there to celebrate a buddy's b-day and everyone is at the bar. I heard a lot about their margaritas, and seeing that the place is called Velvet Margarita, I felt the need to try it. Sweet Baby Jesus! That was a good, STRONG drink. As a group, we decided to go to the back patio where they had another bar, a DJ, and a few tables and chairs. It was a rainy night but since it's covered, we were okay. There were a few puddles on the "dance floor" but nothing too major. They have a mural against the wall of the building and plants that just add to the whole VM decor. I would like to go back to try the food because of what I saw, it looked pretty good. What made me really happy is when I went to close my tab and after 2 margaritas and a hefeweizen, my bill was $18. SCORE!

Usually, I come a tad bit earlier and try to catch the live pianist do his song and dance. Solid drinks and nice dcor. For some reason, I always end up choppin' it up with some random people outside with some very interesting things to say. An experience in itself is Martuni.
