Had a decent / okay time. We were hanging on the beach when Greg a promoter came by and gave us his spiel. We got a great deal. For $40 bucks we had a drink party from 10-12, a limo take us over to the club and then instant entry. I was apprehensive at first, but ultimately it was a great plan. We met at this chicken wing place (AMAZING BURGERS BTW), then shared a big bottle of Grey Goose with about 8 people. It was fun to meet other people and the instant access into the club was great (there was a long ass line). The inside was okay. I wasn't super impressed. I'd compare it to Soundbar in Chicago. Drink prices were comparable to Chicago. They played okay music... the house in the back was pretty good - but I can pretty much dance to anything. I had fun and I would thank the promoter for that. Other wise, its just a regular club to me.

On our last night in Boston, the gay boyfriend dragged me here. Normally, I drag him around but I'd been drinking for something like 2 weeks straight and I think I needed a rest. Ain't going to happen. Since my liver had long ago committed suicide, I didn't have much of a protest in me. We arrived early to avoid paying cover, about 10 p.m. There were zero people in the bar. Well, no there were probably less than 10 people including all the bartenders. Sunday nights is the one night of the week it's gay. Hey now, I found the most expensive bar in Boston! I got two drinks and it was $18. Um. Okay, so, no, that's not really expensive since I pay that frequently if not more but for a couple of drinks that were essentially booze and soda, that's too much. Later, I made friends with people and the bartenders so that was pretty much all I spent all night. I guess it worked out in the end. I asked the bartender to make me his specialty. I lost track of how many types of booze went in it but it tasted like fruit punch and after sipping it, I could tell a headache was coming on. I had the worst hangover the next day. Whatever you do, don't order the "South Beach!" This bar has an underwater theme with seashells on the columns. I spent a lot of time admiring these walls until some twink got up to dance on the middle lounge. Later I wound up there too. I guess it's just the place to be. The DJ was great, playing all the latest pop songs, perfect for that dance groove. The club is part of another club so sometimes you get some crossover. You can meet in the middle bar where the drag queen bartender serves you or on the other side where apparently a reggae night was going on. Usually, I stuck to the gay bar side with the cutie bartender, Romeo (yeah, really, his name is Romeo and he goes to Harvard). So yeah, super expensive, fun crowd and about a $7 cab ride from Downtown Crossing (with tip, of course).
