by Leslie K. on I'm not really a fan of this place, but if there's a band I want to see playing here, I'll go again. The atmosphere seems vaguely pretentious -- like, it's pretending to be fancy-exclusive just to make people feel fancy for being there. As mentioned before, the drinks are pricey. $11 for a well gin and tonic and a bottled water. The bartender was friendly, though. As far as the show I saw, they *really* packed 'em in, ALL of the seating is reserved for people with bottle service. As far as seeing a show at a medium-larger venue, I'd prefer to go to the Fillmore or Great American. I'll let other reviewers speak to this place as clubbing venue.
by Elliot Y. on First Friday of every month, chances are that I'll be here!. A great spot for happy hour. This place is more of a lounge and I like its laid back atmosphere. I also like how this is a gallery so if you get bored, you can see a BIG picture of Abe Lincoln. Oh yea, they rotate the art every so-often, so it never gets boring coming back here!
