Horrible experience. I have never been to a club where the doorman pick and choose who goes into a club. My friends and I waited for almost a hour even when we were on a guest list. The door man seemed to only let fake looking bimbos into the club. Well Liv doesn't have to worry about seeing me there ever again (or better yet the lobby, because I wasn't allowed to go elsewhere). I don't have time, money or energy to waste on stuck up clubs and people who couldn't get into the same club on their day off from work as a doorman

I really like this place and don't get there often enough. It is a fair weather place (check in advance if you are in doubt about them being open) and is superb for soaking up the sun, or enjoying the shade of the umbrella's, and looking out over the bay towards Oakland. The old shipyards add another scenic touch. Forget the Ramp's crowds on a Sunday and treat yourself to, generally good service, and good food. The food here has improved (at one time it could be hit and miss), and the Chesapeake Eggs Benedict is excellent. My bud likes the burgers. Depending on the bar tender the Margaritas can be super, or so I'm told... Parking never seems to be difficult. My only complaint is that during our unusually dry and warm Jan. when the city had fabulous weather Mission Cafe was closed for much of that month, I discovered as I showed up one Sunday. I've never come for the events. I did bring someone in a wheel chair once and we took the elevator up a floor and they loved taking in the views (which the place down the street can't quite compete with). My coffee came out cold but they fixed it fast when asked.

Private room for 6 is $50/hour. Bottle service is the way to go here, it's priced much lower than at a nightclub (which is good, because the selection is somewhat limited). 750ml of Grey Goose is $120. English song selection isn't overwhelming, but there was certainly enough to keep our group well entertained for three hours. The A/V system appears to be state-of-the-karaoke-art, with all kinds of features that will seem crazy to anyone not experienced in true Korean/Japanese karaoke. Service was outstanding, with attendants at the ready but never intrusive. They even brought some nibbles and desserts after we'd been there for a few hours. Great spot for Karaoke. Not intimidating at all, even for a crowd of American novices.
