What can I say that everyone else hasn't? The entry is elegant and the amount of preset dishes on the tables is designed to impress. But don't let that intimidate you. There are plenty of reasonably priced meals on the menu. Plus I think you could probably split an appetizer or salad and then split one of the entrees and still have plenty for two, throw in a shared dessert and you are too full! The section of the menu that has the 12.95 entrée where you get to take home another entrée on the list as part of the price is a good deal if any of those appeal to you. I admit to being more interested in the specialty items which cost a little more. The Spinach & Chicken Manicotti was excellent! The generous serving of lasagna though alright was a little soft and a tad sweet for our taste. Our service was pretty good. The waiter was personable and knowledgeable but our water glasses sat at less than a quarter full from the middle of the meal on. The only real negative I had was that I felt like I was being rushed out the door from time we finished our entrée on, even after we ordered dessert. We splurged on a forty dollar bottle of wine that the waiter talked us into and I feel like we are entitled to linger a little over a Sunday lunch for two that in the end cost us $90.00. I know they want to turn over their table but there is no reason to cork our bottle and tell us to take it home for the next day before we even order desert and then deliver our check before we finish our dessert and then hover for the payment. Will we go back? Absolutely! Overall it was really a nice experience. Maybe I'm just being too sensitive about wanting to finish that bottle of wine!

Some friends wanted to go here one night to meet up for some margaritas as they have an extensive menu of variations from which to choose. Sounds good, right? In theory. Once we arrived, we found the bar packed on this cold Friday night and there was nowhere good for a large group to go. We asked the hostess, and they told us we could either pay to go into the salsa club area upstairs (pass on that) or we could go downstairs in the club area, telling us there was seating there. Soooo... we made our way down there. Once we got down there, they wanted to search us (again, pass on that) and we noticed the inside area, the club, was very cheesy and we weren't too excited to throw ourselves into the mix. We said no to the search and made our way back upstairs. We happened to luck out and were talking to one man whose party at the bar was just about to leave. Otherwise, we were seriously about to leave. The drinks were pretty good, but for a place known for the Latin drinks, they didn't seem to have it down. The flavors came out different than what was ordered (my friend's came back entirely incorrect once and she had to reorder it - turned out one of the workers didn't know how to make the drinks). And the second mojito I ordered came out without sugar cane. They claimed to be out of them, although my friend who ordered a drink about 10 minutes after me had a sugar cane in his drink. Humph. Things were just too chaotic here for me to be spending this much on my drinks. Next time I want a margarita or a mojito, I'll definitely be going elsewhere.
