This review is for Saturday night. There is really nothing special about Infusion to distinguish it from the other clubs in SF, and yet they force you to pay $10 for cover even with guest list. In my opinion, it's not worth it to pay $10 to go to a club hella early (boring) and it's also not worth it to pay $20 to go to Infusion even at its peak hours. I might just be bitter because I avoid paying cover at all costs, but if you have to wait in line anyway, you might as well go to Slide, where there is no cover. I haven't ever gotten bottle service here, so perhaps that is a better experience. The club itself is pretty small, one floor with two rooms - the first room is divided in half, with the bar on one side and VIP tables on the other. Outside of the VIP area, there is very little room to dance in the first room. The second room is a larger dance floor with some platforms. It's pretty annoying that they don't open this room until a little later in the evening. Infusion has an edge over some of the smaller clubs like Slide and Vessel in that there are two DJs - variety in music is always better. The music is decent, mostly top-40 and hip hop mash-up. Overall, nothing about Infusion stands out as memorable to me. I don't think you'd have a horrible time coming here, but ultimately I don't think it's worth the time and money to come back.

The California Academy of Sciences is super-fun. I've been to Nightlife 3 times, and each time I got to see something different. The problem, however, is how freakin' popular Nightlife is. There are just too many people and it gets too crowded. I've never been able to go to both the Rain Forest and the Planetarium in the same night. You either get in line for the Rain Forest and wait for-ev-er, or get there very, very early to get a pass for the Planetarium. I've never gone during a full day, so maybe it would still be crowded, only instead of drunk adults it would be sticky children and strollers. And do not get me started on how much I hate strollers. All in all, $10 admission is not a bad deal, and the exhibits in the museum are educational and fun. It gets crowded and the penguins are asleep, so maybe I might go during the day sometime.

This place...is surprisingly alright. I don't personally like clubbing but out of all the clubs I've been to for my friends. This one is pretty tolerable. For sure it has the best decor. The drinks were good. Something I can actually drink and not feel sick. The crowd is definitely very mixed which is good. None of that 90% Asian people thing going on here! But at the same time it's a bit too diverese. The dress code says classy. But I kid you not I've seen several people wear tshirts jeans and sneakers, one guy was even wearing a sweatshirt with his jacket tied around his waist!! Really? Why did I even bother to dress up? The go go dancers was a nice touch too. Not literally of course! Overall I enjoyed this place. If you're like me and not into the club scene... This is definitely the spot to try out.
