Went to Playhouse for a birthday party. We got a table, and it was pretty cool, not very packed. But by 11, it seemed like they had OVER CROWDED the ENTIIIRE place. It had a domino affect, one person moving caused 8 other people to move just so this ONE person can get through. I'm not claustrophobic, but it was just TOO crowded. If I were the owner, I'd limit the amount of people getting in, because you saw way too many POTENTIAL fights between people JUST by walking. Most hollywood clubs are like this (overcrowding), but this one didn't have the room for the amount of people allowed inside.

WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. No wonder why everyone was next door at Dona Rosa (the OTHER Mexican restaurant) when we walked passed it - if it takes literally 20 minutes to get the dumb server to come take our order, chances are the food is just as bad. The worst part about this whole experience was that not only the server didn't care that we were left out there on the patio with our thumbs up our asses, but when we finally got up and decided to tell a manager that we didn't want to wait for another 20 minutes to get our main course, he just handed us the bill and walked away - no sorry, no 'what was wrong? How can I help make this right?' Nothing. Nada. Zippo. I've never felt this disrespected from a restaurant or especially from a manager, so much so that I threw the checkbook on the ground. Of course we only paid for the Ultra Bland Cadillac Margarita, Mighty Crappy Mango Margarita, and really - what Mexican resturant screws up salsa? Really? F this place. If you put a gun to my head and made me choose between this restaurant or death, I choose the latter. Let's sum up, shall we: 1) Shitty drinks. 2) Even worse chips and salsa. 3) Horrific waitresses. 4) Managers that are just plain dicks. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE BUBONIC PLAGUE!!!
