by Sheila Fay N. on In all fairness- I am not a "club" type individual. However, I have been to H.Wood on a couple different occasions, and it is just another typical snooty "Hollywood" club. I would however recommend this place for a special occasion, or if you have guests to entertain that want to "go out in Hollywood" but other than that- I am more of a Sky Bar or Teddy's fan.
by Steve W. on i love me some korea town lounges. they all have a great layout, great drinks, pretty women to look at that want nothing to do with you. third floor cafe is no different. its rather big with a nice layout of couches creating a semi dark candle-lit atmosphere. but it could get crowded. girls here are on opposite spectrums. either they're really hot or really ugly. there's not much of girls here where you say "i'll do her but i won't enjoy it as much" aka average girls. so if you go here and are reading this review, just assume you're really hot. its ok, we're all a little delusional in our own way. on tuesdays they have all you can eat and drink for $18 from 5-8. it gets super crowded that day so don't expect to get a table if you stroll in at 630 thinking you're too good to come early. the other nights? meh, thursday, friday and saturday, people (koreans) come here for pre-gaming before heading to circle. yeah dreaded circle club located at 41st btwn 6th and bdway. check out my review please. there's not much of a happy hour during those days so be prepared to be ripped off by the beautiful mesmerizing bartender. i can't remember her name but she looked at me once and i floated away like a butterfly, as the angels sung and i had dreams of....whoops, still writing here. to recap, 4 stars for my future wife behind the bar, great atmosphere, good spacious layout, cheap tuesday happy hour and half good looking people. 1 star off for ugly people. stay home, the world does not need to see you. i kid i kid.
