by Nicole P. on I went to Greenhouse on 9/11. We got in after an hour of waiting. Greenhouse has taken this exclusive thing to a ridiculous level. The bouncer text messages the door man for entry. I also notices that although clubs hold the right to be selective they didnt seem to let in many African American women on line even if they were cute and dressed in a trndy manner. This place is a disaster and I hope the fall off soon
by Precious Doucet on Just got back from a fun, random night at Bordello! There was an eccentric crowd, full bar, dance floor, and stage entertainment. My boys had Stellas, while I had a glass of unknown Pinot Noir. Total came out to $21 for three drinks. Meh, average in price. My favorite part was singing Christmas songs with the crowd and the host, Jean Spinosa. Though my friends and I just missed the Jean-Paul Yamamoto show, we were able to meet the musicians and dancers afterwards. Good times. I'm really curious about their burlesque show now. Time to gather the boys for another night out!
by Glayds Sirpilla on there is so much damn hype about this place. i was stoked to go but disapointed when i left. perhaps i am just a stupid american sharing my ignorant opinion when i have never been to addis ababa, but tell me ethiopians (and eritreans) ISN'T YOUR TRADITIONAL FOOD SUPPOSED TO BE SPICY?! well, tell the chef at waziema. did they water it down on our behalf? please tell me yes because then otherwise they would have no excuse for serving bland food. the lamb had no berbere sauce, the injera wasnt pleasantly sour (i'll bet it was made with white flour and not teff). i liked the wallpaper. woohoo.
