Came here saturday for my friends bday party (dont really like partying on weekends, plus was mad tired and chilly out, but i had to). Have ended up here twice, each time not on my own initiative but because of the people i was with that night. Have had a good time cause of the company ive been with, but otherwise this place is not really my style, would put it more on the mainstream clubing category. I always start the night off here annoyed from the typical mainstream club scenarios, I got in free cause people should pay ME to be at their partys and be thankful that i am even trying to be there, and the bday girl was able to comp 3 other friends but they made all the rest of the hot friends pay a "Reduced" $15 entrance, so whack. and then the place is packed and so many people running back and forth and squishing me, rubbing their sweat on me, stepping on me, its uncomfortable to dance or just stand there on the main dance floor, and each time ive come there have been TONS of Asians, maybe i have just come on the same night? nah i have a feelin its always just like that, im not mad cause i actually have "asian guy" on my to-try list, but a whole crew of them, to party, its just not my style. Anyways once we go upstairs where theres more space and the shots get going and the crew starts dancing, the good times roll. I was with a pack of really cute and cool chicks (the kind of girls who wear all black and red lipstick and 4-way kissed the hot australian bartender ;-) and we were all killing it so it turned out to be a good time. The decor is nice, clubish, usual. They have aerial dancers in sheets swinging in the air, lots of lights, and the dj is pretty good, hip hop, pop, dance. Bday girl had a good time, shots were going, and things got pretty wild as the night progressed elsewhere. All in all good times, but again mainly cause of who i was with, will come back if i HAVE to but still not motivated to return on my own.

I've been here a few times - once on a Friday night, and twice during the day. The time I went on the Friday night, I wanted to hang myself. Nothing like blowing away $30 to consume three drinks in the presence of a bunch of horny tools and scantily-clad bimbos. Not for me... Now, going on a Sunday afternoon is a completely different story. You can actually see the fact that the bar is decorated with a lot of Dia de los muertos stuff, which I think is pretty cool. The bartender (he's not that short, BTW - the area behind the bar is lower than the area in front of the bar) will make you a killer frozen margarita, or anything else you feel like drinking. And he's good conversation when it's not busy. It's the perfect way to wait for a matinee at the Arclight, depending on how much time you have.

Good crowd, Good Music, Stiff Drinks--All the ingredients for a good time. Go on a Thursday night to listen to their killer line up of vinyl spinning talent.
