I was here for the first time with co-workers to celebrate a birthday party. The music is alright but for whatever reason they had tacky girls dancing and exposing themselves on the dance floor. There's a pretty long wait time to get in and most of the crowd is very young. It's not as classy as they make it sound. I'm not going back. There are better places I would wait in line for.

Have been to Bimbos numerous times, for a wide variety of artists from Muziq (many years ago), St. Etienne, and Bebel Gilberto (last night). While the decor, design, and artists should make this close to a 5-star review, the staff bring it down to 2. They are rude and incompetent (probably the reason for their rudeness) - especially someone named Medra (sp?). However, the bartenders are very good. Don't count on wait service in the lounge area either - they only go there if "they have a chance".

IMO this is a typical korean lounge kinda place. reminds me exactly of the korean bars/lounges back in LA. Good drinking environment, but this place had horrible music the night i was there. It was loud trance kinda music and then it became southern/wanna be jazz kinda music. Very weird variety of music. The food was good and the service was great. I took away 2 stars because they made us walk to stairs intstead of letting people use the elevator and the manager had some stinky ass breathe. Overall, i had a good time drinking here.
