If you enjoy a crowd filled with tragically hip geeks, overpriced and underwhelming food and lethargic service, call to make your reservation now! As for the food, I (eventually) received: Parsnip soup-- I have never heard of such a thing, and can safely say there is a good reason for that. Kind of like Gerber's, except flavorless and less satisfying. Tataki of American Wagyu Skirt - This was relatively OK. I have very little memory of it, which is a good thing. Yuzu Curd - Weird texture, strange bitter-ish flavor, unrecommended. I cannot imagine how Michael Mina has THIRTEEN (err XIII) other restaurants if this is a representation of what is in store for diners.
by Kymberli C. on Only went to the bar/loungey part of the night, didn't eat at the restaurant because they couldn't accomodate the number of guests my friend had invited for her birthday dinner. It was so cramped, I couldn't even walk or move anywhere. It was hard to get drinks from the bar too. The music was kind of weird at times and they brought it back to the old school a lot.
