by B L. on T Boyles is a great addition to Pasadena for people that enjoy a good bar atmosphere and a great beer selection. Lots of beers on tap to try. The last time I went, they only served beer but the selection is awesome and I don't really do mixed drinks so it's all good to me. They have pool tables, shuffleboard and darts which any down home type bar should have. The bartenders are friendly and down to earth guys, no cool guy attitude here. I remember this was for years a Latino nightclub and was so out of place because if you were walking to see a movie at the Academy at night you would hear salsa or merengue blasting. T Boyles definitely suits the Pasadena/Colorado Blvd vibe and like I said earlier, is a great addition to Pasadena and one of my favorite bars in town now.
by Luann Dukich on I was reluctant to enter this place at first...but it was all right. This is not my usual hangout place, but I didn't feel utterly uncomfortable after a round or two of beer. I was waiting forever for the darts though, but that's not their fault for having dart-hogging customers.
by Glynis Cappelli on Mighty impressive! Came here for lunch, so this is a food review. It's a small cozy place hidden amongst the towering buildings in the West Village. I had a burger and I must say it was very good. It was cooked a little more than I asked for, but it was still juicy. The homefries instead of normal fries is an interesting touch - but not a bad one at that. A relaxed atmosphere for lunch in the city is something not to be overlooked.
