by Alicia O. on One of those dark, small bars that everyone seems to love. First time I came here, I didn't know what all the fuss was about. It was a bit too crowded for me. However last time I was here on Saturday night and the crowd was a lot smaller than usual. It was better experience. Around Christmas time, they had Mad Elf on tap which gets another star from me. We also sat around and ate their fries and they were sort of addicting. The actual fries aren't anything special, but it's the spicy mayo that comes with it that gets you.
by helen t. on what's not to like about $2.50 beers til 9 pm on fridays? this place is so deceiving from the outside, b/c it's such a dive. however, once you get out to the patio, you feel like you've stumbled upon a hidden treasure in the city. i felt like i was at a backyard bbq when i came here yesterday for drinks, and a guy was actually bbq'ing!! i am definitely coming back for the dancing next time, b/c i hear they play great music.
