I had to come to town on business and forgot that ATL seems to be home to many Top Chef contestants. A co-worker also in town suggested we go here, so off we went. Selections for the evening were the farmer burger, onion rings, fried bread & butter pickles, and a turtle shake. There was not a bad choice in the bunch. While the burger was not one of the mega-pound varieties, it was quite tasty. When you say medium though, it is probably more toward the medium rare side. I didn't mind it, but if you don't like a good bit of red in your burger, then move up a notch or two on the cooking scale. The onion rings had a light batter and were nice. The fried b&b pickles were good and a nice change from the dill norm. The shake should be illegal in most states. It was good, and you could see becoming a shake a day person if you were close. Glad I am not close to the place because I am sure that would pack on the pounds in a hurry. If you are in town, swing by and give it a shot. It is definitely worth it.

This place happened to be one of the few places open at 9pm in the Cahuenga Corridor on a Wednesday. I was out with one of my friends waiting to go to Tokio for their house music Wednesdays so we popped in to kill some time. I LOVE the decor there. Very funky Mexican Frida Kahlo inspired kind of vibe. The wait staff was very nice and it had just the right amount of lighting with good music and great ambiance. I would definitely go back. Drinks also very strong. I would recommend this for a good first date place too.
