I went in to see a game, they provided me with said game, they let us move when the sound went out, and they had reasonable beer specials and a totally decent hamburger. Unfortunately, right about the 3rd quarter (say, 9pm), this place went bonkers. Loud DJ booth. Intolerable crowd. The most unfortunate looking bachelorette party I've ever seen--complete with blow up doll--requiring us to move (yet again). Service meant well, and they even offered us a free round for the inconvenience of said bachelorettes. But it was just too much, too loud, and too overwhelming at that point. With that said, it was dirt cheap, and at the right hour I could see myself enjoying a pint and a game. Far better than Fox and Hound, as well.
by Huey Stewarts on Forget about everything else, this place has hands-down the best oldschool/reggae/top20 dance mix I have ever heard. The DJ runs the show. Get here early, sit back (or dance), and enjoy the music. I resigned as a DJ out of respect for this bar.
