Such an awesome environment! Everyone is so friendly & the service is pretty on point considering how big the crowds get! Was here on a Sunday for brunch, you definitely have to make reservations early, showing up with a party means you have to wait (you'll understand why when you go). The attendants said we'd be waiting for three hours, but we were seated in less than half the time. While you wait though, there's a small lounge area where you could mingle & drink. The place plays really loud music, so if a quiet brunch is what you're looking for, this is not the place to go. Food is pretty tasty, but not the best. Would get a full 5 Stars, BUT there are only two restrooms for guests & the wait to use them can get EXTREMELY long... So this is not for people who could hold it in!

Went to Vanguard for the first time last weekend to see Markus Schulz, Gareth Emery, and Kristina Sky, and had an amazing time! I thought that the club had the entrances set up pretty efficiently. With will call, we were able to pick our tickets up easily, then enter through the side, rather than the line up front. The club also has a great setup. The main room is a good size - not too big, not too small, and has some great lighting set up. The garden area is also GREAT - huge outdoor area, this is what every club needs to allow people to take a break, chill, and breathe. This area totally reminded me of TAO Beach in Vegas. Also, the second room of the venue was good that night too. They were playing some really good hip hop and r&b, definitely some good music you want to dance to. Overall, I liked Vanguard a lot. The venue is good, and I'm surprised to see some bad reviews.. I guess it depends a lot on whether you're coming to see a specific artist, cause MARKUS KILLED IT THAT NIGHT!

This place is ONLY good for getting super drunk (meaning pre-gaming and taking a cab there) and making a fool out of yourself or trying to pick up chicks. DO NOT GO THERE SOBER. It sucks. They have a stage there so if you have a bunch of girl friends you all can get drunk and dance while a bunch of guys oogle at you and if you are a thrill seeker grab some by the hair. The music inside is always top 40's and outside is Techno. Sometimes they have GoGo Dancers, sometimes they don't. Outside- there always seems to be that old balding guy with a shiny shirt dancing in the middle with some girls. The drinks are OVER priced and always try to get in before 11 so you don't pay cover. The door guys stall the line to make it look packed, but there is always plenty of room every time I have gone. They are known to have a few celebrities come in...without warning...
