by Dylan Nelon on An old friend of mine who became a club promoter invited me to come to this lounge, and a female friend from high school was having her 26th birthday party here. I got in line 5 minutes past 11pm, so I was not able to get in for free :( .The line was long to get in, but I still managed to get in within 10 to 15 minutes. They charge you $10 to get in after 11pm. It was a nice setup on the inside. The bartenders where fast and friendly, even taking an occasional shot with some people. The music was mostly hip-hop and the DJ for the night was good. Once the DJ played "Blame it on the Alcohol" everybody packed the dance floor and had a good time. This place has a reputation for occasional fights, but the night I went the crowd was cool and respectful (On a Saturday night too). I can see myself coming back to this place if the crowd and DJ are just as good as the night I went.
by Mark Makuch on Now DIG THIS! Love this bar...years ago, I had the pleasure of attending a wedding here and got into the fishtank... They play the speakeasy bit to the t -- there's a bathroom attendant, loaded with Aqua Net and breath mints. I just wish this place would get more acts...
