by Kris A. on review for saturday 9/11/2010 There is a huge brightly lit parking structure on harrison that has $10 parking open til 2:30 am. There was no line at 9:40 to get the cheaper ($6) cover charge The cashier tried to shortchange me and a couple other people in my group the music was totally awesome amazing up until 11 pm 11pm--Smash Up Derby .... I was really really looking forward to this after all the reviews on rateclub. They were so boring I was about to kill myself...i did not enjoy the transition of the DJ playing super fun dance music to the live band performing mash ups of whinning 90s alternative rock songs. After Smash Up left, it got fun again! Can't wait to go back!
by Lester Knapchuck on We had fun at H-Wood. The space is pretty sweet... the upstairs bar being my favorite. The club was packed with players and lots of eye-candy. The biggest rockstar there that night was the host -- Walter. One badass nice guy who knows how to throw party. (Walter, thanks from Darius & Jacqui from SF)

In general, I'm going to have to say that the food is a notch up above your typical Mexican restaurant in L.A. when it comes to quality. Ambiance is warm and friendly. Music and festivities on Fridays and Saturdays. Come late for dinner and have some drinks and work it off on the dance floor after. Once again, to reiterate, the service over here is bar none, A+. Our server was approaching our table every 5 minutes to see if everything was 'cool as a culo.' I have not been here for Happy Hour, but according to past reviews, it looks like it's a Must coopela o cuello
