I had lunch there today with 2 of my coworkers and being a group that spends a lot of time eating in Hollywood all of us were wowed by the food! The service was attentive and amazing, the food was refreshing, light, flavorful and just enough (or in one co-worker's case...too much). For the three of us it came to about $50 which is not bad at all especially with the food and service you get. I don't know how it is at night with more of the dinner and club scene but I will certainly be back for many more lunches!

Zanzibar is one of the premier nightclubs located on the waterfront near the wharf. The DJs are awesome and the spaciousness of the club allows you to party comfortably all night long. The also have a back bar on the deck which is nice to sit on and enjoy on warm summer nights. Its one of the better clubs to visit in the area. I recommend Friday night.

I work down the street from here, and for what seems like an eternity, I've been saying that one day, I will make it here to see a PopScene show.  Well, I never made it for PopScene, but I did make it to my friends Pink and Black birthday party here on Saturday. I almost wore a pink bunny suit.  Seriously. The place was super chill, the crowd was really upbeat and down to dance, and the staff was never mean or rude or anything.  Nothing but nice.  The drinks were fairly stiff too, but this may have been because we were pouring them ourselves at our table.  So I can't really speak to how the bartenders do it..... Also in attendance was Ian Ross ( http://www.ianrossart.com), a local artist who was showcasing his newest collection, as well as creating masterpieces right on stage.  His art is amazing and he is such a wonderful person, it was nice to see a full collection from him as well as play catch-up, since we used to work down the street from each other back in the day.  I highly recommend checking out his site. So all in all, I did have a great time here; I will definitely be back to check out PopScene (someday soon I hope), and if I ever need to rent out a venue for a party or anything, this might be the place to do it. They also just completely revamped this place, and it looks legit.  Go check out the new and improved 330 Ritch.
