by Veda F. on Jillian's is located at the Metreon right across the street from Moscone center in SF. It looks like a fair amount of customers are from the convention center. They stay open late so it's easy to pop in for a drink before your movie starts at the Metreon. Julian's is great for large groups, featuring large tables and a giant 9 monitor screen above the wrap around bar and a billiard room. The monitors are impressive and even those with bad eye sight can remove their glasses. You're almost watching jumbo-tron downtown San Francisco. I didn't have the pleasure to eat here but it looked like the food was of good upscale pub-like meals. The setting is clean and new and I would recommend this location.
by Michael L. on I've hit up this place numerous times, and have never been disappointed. I'm surprised there haven't been more reviews! I've had the al pastor and carne asada tacos, which were both good- the al pastor tends to be too salty IMO. As far as I remember, the burritos here are nothing to write home about, but the tortas (basically sandwiches) are great! They are stuffed with meat, guacamole, and fillers (lettuce, tomato, onions), and the toasty bread gives a great contrast in textures. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it...
