Does anyone remember the Club "Heaven", Yeah, that's where this is located. I'm seeing a trend here, people who promote this place give it 5-stars... HA! Who are you fooling? SLEE-ZEE. 1. I'd rather not go to a place where people get stupid drunk. 2. I swear, people sweated on me. :( 3. What's VIP stand for? That you can cut the line? Some "VIP" 4. The music/DJ is horrible.

I finally got a chance to go to Top Flr. My boyfriend kept saying that he thought I would like it so we put it on our list of places to check out on our next date night. So we went last night and I had a good time. Top Flr has a good, sexy vibe. The lighting is right. The music is right. It is a small space but they make good use of it. I normally don't like dining in small spaces with close tables but we got lucky and got a corner spot in the back of the restaurant for two. It was cozy, comfortable and probably the best seats in the house. The Food Hangar steak-Tender, juicy, nice flavor Roasted Vegetables-Delicious Mac and Cheese-Good, not spectacular, we make a very delicious homemade mac that beats this :) Tuna tartare crisp bread-Yummy Duck confit pasta-Very delicious, good flavors The service was good. The servers were attentive but not overbearing. The downside were the dessert choices. Nothing on the menu interested me and I skipped dessert and ended up going to another spot for dessert. That's a downer for me because I am a Real dessert girl. But overall, I enjoyed my dining experience at Top Flr. I will definitely be dining here again. UPDATE 7/19/09 We have gone here on our last 3 date nights. Why? Because it is not far from home and we love the food. We have good consistent service and just like the laid back vibe. We decided last night that on our next visit we will try some different menu offerings because we always have the same thing each visit the pappardelle with duck confit (so delicious!), root vegetables, Tuna tartare crisp bread, the sweet potato succotash (makes me want to slap my mom). Last night I tried dessert for the first time and had this lemon like gelato with strawberry compote. This has become a regular spot for us and that's saying a lot for me because I am usually not a "regular" of many places.

When this place first opened up it was by far the best in Seattle, however on my latest visit (it had been awhile) I was totally appalled. The decor is still great but the atmosphere sucks. We went for the PJ party expecting something really great, sexy but classy....we went to see Jackass 2 right before and I was never as close to vomiting as I was when we watched the "costume contest" not only were the men not eligable to win the $500 ( or none were picked to participate?) it was basically a titty show. (Now don't get me wrong here I love a good titty show as much as the next guy, but only when its someone titties I want to see, that can dance and have at least a little self respect.) The winner was wearing jeans (not pj's) and a slutty corset (which could count) The only girl that could dance and seemed to have a air of self individuality lost to the blond with big tits that "happened" to let her nipple slip a few times. Besides being shoved every 30 seconds by little short men who you would think had never seen a half naked women before, there were broken glasses, beer bottles and what seemed to be someones random piece of apparel covering the floor making it difficult to dance to the terrible looped DJ mixes of hip hop and oldie's. The front room still seemed to have class with a good DJ and a nice mix of "real people" . I didn't realize Ron Jeremy was so short. I agree with Tessa on the cover point.
