by Cat H. on Finally got an opportunity to get out and enjoy some time with my best friend, so we hit La Vida. I was somewhat surprised that this restaurant/ lounge had so much hype around it because I really wasn't all that impressed. It was cute, but meh, your general standard run of the mill lounge/ restaurant in Hollywood. It's definitely nothing I'd wait in line for, nor is it anyplace you should be dying to be seen in. That being said, the venue features a small bar, small tables here n there, small dance floor, and the night wasn't all that packed. I was actually glad that it wasn't a huge wannabe clubby scene, but it's your typical LA scene. There's nothing new here people but it would be a nice place to just hang out with your friends and do your own thing.
by Craig S. on Very average. I've had better food, and I've had friendlier service. Certainly the scary guy greeting us at the door didn't help (this may have been the/an owner, not sure) but I wasn'r super impressed with the food or the atmosphere. Very Olive Garden.
by Francisco Caliguire on I've never come here during the day time for deserts but I will soon. Love, the ambiance, and decor. Has a very tall bar and ceiling. has a loft feel to it and nice fireplace that kinda reminds you of your rich aunts apt. drinks are reasonable and very little people go here. Only downside to it is that the sound system is below par and needs a little tweaking.
