by Lauren L. on I went here about a month ago on a Saturday. It was pretty empty - at least the part with all the games, it was surprising. We played a couple of overpriced games & won a real and a stuffed goldfish. I had fun and ate some weird sandwich there that was actually good. I just was not thrilled with the place, expected it to be more lively and the staff to be more friendly.
by j h. on Mansion on a Friday night, hip-hop night. What a disappointment! The venue is definitely beautiful; they opened up the huge room with a huge vip section. The hip hop/pop they played was 90s music, with some early 00s. How unfun the music was. Us bachelorettes got in easily of course, but still had to pay $20 cover each! Something about the crowd even lessened the vibe. Seemed like they werent there to have fun...difficult to put into words..... A tip for large group of girls, go straight to the VIP section and dance in there!..more room, view of the DJ, hot go-go girls! Even with that we had to leave before 2am, could not stay there any longer. Who would ever come back to this place?? We would!!! We made a new promoter best friend in South Beach who got us in free on a Sunday night, which was supposed to be for Locals. Decided to give it a second chance after a great time a Prive the night prior. The smaller room was open with VIP section/stripper pole in the middle...Crowd was a little better... Still a great looking venue. The music was HARD CORE hip hop.. Can we get some top 40 /mainstream around here?! Overall, this place has so much potential! Too bad for the poor music, sucky friday crowd. No match for Vegas clubs, but still a must go if you haven't been.
by Jesse Titlow on Monday Night Strikes! $20 unlimited bowling including shoe rentals from 10pm-3am. Huge screens line the end of the alley showing side to side to side screens of Ohio State getting p0wned. What a lovely way to bowl. It is also 21 and over only, so yes, there is alcohol. It's much more popular than you would imagine, and the place fills up really quick so get there before 10. They max out each lane with 8 people per lane.. bring a 9th to get the 2nd lane all to yourselves. Lots of good ole fun, and I hit an all time high of 89, ohhhhhhh yeah. You say "cosmic bowling" I say "sure".
