It actually tasted like the green tea I had ordered, rather than the sickly sweet version I've received elsewhere. Free samples of various baked goods, including red bean paste pastries and bread served with honey butter. Mmm. The digs are all sorts of schmancy, I'd recommend it if you need to get some work done (free wi-fi, woop!), except for the fact that they seem to have the soundtrack of a cheesy Miami nightclub goin' on up in here.

Starr's ability to produce unique and visually stimulating buildings is not lost in the sibling of Market Street's original Continental. From hanging bird cage seating to neon chairs which resemble "Yoshi" the Super Mario Bros. character, everything about The Midtown is matchless. The crowd is what you would expect from a high end martini bar: well dressed, good looking, and mostly under 35 years old. The roof-top bar is worth the trip in its self as patrons sip martinis and overlook 18th and Chestnut. If you go, order the "Buzz Aldrin", a mixture of Tang, peach vodka and triple sec in a orange Tang rimmed glass ($8).
