by James B. on Club Review: Busby's is always a convenient place to go on weekend to dance and drink. I don't when it started, but it all of a sudden turned into Asian Nights on Fridays and Saturdays. So if you have yellow fever, Busby's is the place to be. It seems that everyone who has a birthday ends up going to Busby's East. It's always a reunion when I'm there. This place has 2 pool tables, dance floor, 2 DJs, shuffleboard, couple of arcade games, Darts, ping pong table, and even a beer pong table. There's always a good balance of hip-hop and house playing on Weekend nights and it's nice because it's more casual than other Hollywood clubs, so you could actually just wear a T-shirt and some sneakers. Drinks are reasonably priced. Tip: Guys should go before 10pm to avoid the $10 cover. Lines can also get pretty long. Sports Bar Review: Decent Happy Hour and it plays every game available. Lot of screens and games to play during the breaks. The servers are very nice and attentive. Nice, friendly, atmosphere
by Courtney D. on If you wanna get tipsy and fast, this is the place to do it. My friend with no liver (aka Jason) told me the drinks we ordered were = to 3 shots... I'm sure they r but I have been going here for years and no matter who's bar tending, Diane these days, they have always had a heavy pour, great to know about but usually hard to find. they have piano players and lounge singers sometimes and Skip (owner/waiter) is always there will bells on to serve you, drink slowly or you will be in rare form and fast! This is a great bar!
by Elroy Niedzwiecki on Okay, wow, this was a different experience! I had so much fun! ATMOSPHERE: I'm used to going out dancing and getting all dressed up, but this place it doesn't matter. I still got dressed up just because I felt like it, but I fit right in since the crowd was so diverse - I even saw my old physics professor from Ga Tech! Ha! Average age I'd say is mid to late 20's in this place. This is the place to go if you want to get your dance on and get a good workout. It's really dark in this place and heats up pretty quickly. However, this can be alleviated by certain spots where the AC blows directly on you. There are at least 2 that I know of. 2 sections/rooms - both huge. One was more hip-hop oriented with a break dancing dance off. Other room is more rock/techno. Place seemed kind of grunge...dirty. Definitely not a fancy place. COVER: None on Wednesday nights, which is MJQ night from what I'm told. HOWEVER, guys have to pay $5 if you are wearing sandals. CONCLUSION: I will be back! It was sooo much fun! NOTE: I've only been 1 night - Wednesday night.
