by Matthew D. on Chill place with a chill atmosphere. I came here last Friday night when ?uestlove was spinning, and the place wasn't all too crowded, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on what you're going for. I came with a group of guys, which seemed like what everyone else planned to do, judging by the immense amount of penis walking around. I'm just exaggerating though. There was a 30 minute period past midnight where there were a decent amount of girls. A whole 30 minutes! Anyways, the crowd is generally the same as I see wherever I go in the city that plays hip hop, though I'm not big on the bar/club scene to begin with. Beers on tap were cheaper than most but warm, so that cancels each other out. I considered giving it 4 stars, as I'd definitely come back if someone I knew insisted on it, but I'd be more optimistic checking out other places.
by Hoa G. on first time here... went out for my birthday and had a great time. but it was so crowded. love the fact that there's several rooms to party from, we kept moving around to find space. the ladies could actually get on top of the bar and dance in one of the room. that was awesome. diverse crowd. bouncers were super nice. drinks were fairly priced. we got a great hook up from the coat hanger ladies. 6 coats for $20 bucks, you can't beat that. i thought the interior design on the walls and paitings were so cool! ladies get in free before 11. definitely come back again.
by Patria Rotunda on I feel like I need a passport to come here. Or maybe my middle school ID. Very homogenous crowd, yucky drinks, horrible music, everyone was just awkwardly segregated like a bad middle school dance. The music was so awful to the point where i went up to the DJ booth and begged him to play some better music but he just kinda grimaced and said no. I suppose it's understandable considering he was playing for the "crowd". One extra star on top of the unfortunately mandatory one star for the friendly staff there.
