Why in the world does a restaurant with its own parking lot need to have valet? Humph. Ok, aside from the weird parking issues, this place is a mixed bag. Love some things, don't like others. Love -Great mojitos -Great patio -Great steak fajitas -Chicken tostada Don't Like -Unneeded valet parking -Beans: none of their three options taste very good -The sometimes Buckhead clubby vibe that kicks in after hours -Fish tacos more expensive and not nearly as good as the ones at La Fonda -Pork tacos and queso more expensive and not as good as the ones at Taqueria del Sol I've not tried everything on the menu, but generally nice to have a Mexican option in the area, but is slightly overpriced and you can find cheaper and better food at comparable restaurants.

The sushi was not good and wasn't prepared well at all. I hope I don't offend anyone, but I don't think it's a good sign of authenticity when 2 non-Asians are preparing the sushi. Can I say that?? Maybe that can be a rateclubs "Talk" topic. This is a hole in the wall JOINT. From the clinking and clanking of dishes while you eat, to the view of the bus boys cleaning from every table - it's not a good dining experience. There are plenty of better casual and fast sushi places to go to in Buckhead. Their parking lot also had me trudging through a dark, pot-holed alley. However, I didn't try the rice bowls - which I hear are good. But I don't think I'd go back here unless I'm meeting someone. The waitress was very sweet and tried to get us a good table. Don't wear anything dressier than jeans or shorts!

MJQ feels like a dark garage or cave. Yet I find this venue to be a refreshing change from the Buckhead scene. I am always highly impressed with the music (great DJ's) and the crowd is very peculiar. Really, entering MJQ like being thrown in a jar of mixed nuts (in a cave). I've met Emory students to professionals to indie/emo types, to a drag queen I chatted with while washing hands in the bathroom. I'm actually torn between three and four stars, because I've had such uniquely fun experiences here. Okay, we'll go with the fourth :o)
