by Cristalina A. on What a GORGEOUS place!!! The decor is absolutely 'TRENDY, AND SO NICE!! The place is really big, you don't feel crowded! Its definitely a social scene! There is a dj, but not to really dance the night away. Its a place to mingle and drink. I really enjoyed the atmosphere! Not to mention, I saw Adam Lambert and another actor on TV there! It was cool!! I went on a Friday night. They also had a girl dancer on the stage and bar, dancing and doing moves...It reminded me of Burlesque.
by Alex H. on Simply put, Rouge tries too hard. They are the staple of uncool. Their dance floor is next to a taqueria. Their drinks are weak. Unflattering girls dance on top of the bars. I almost vomited when a cougar was dropping it like its hot next to my martini. It's over blinged out with their gazillion chandeliers and their velour lounge chairs. It's like walking into a bad hiphop video. Rouge inspires dangerous activities, like extreme sports or riding the subway on St. Patrick's Day. Something always bad will happen. Unless you want to get down to funky town with some of SF's finest, stay. far. away.
by Santo Nienhaus on Great, "healthy" chinese food, not far from where I live, inside a super nice dining area. Sounds like a winner to me! A word to the wise - the food will NOT taste exactly like it does at that greasy hole in the wall you order from at 2am when the bars close, but it will be fresh, delicious, and will leave you food coma free. Be sure to try the crab rangoons here - possibly the best I have had.
